Overview of dsTest
dsTest is an ideal mobile network testing tool for 3G Core, EPC, 5GC, IMS, and VoLTE functional and performance testing, and runs on a virtual environment. It simulates core network nodes required for testing, and communicates with the System Under Test (SUT) to perform evaluations. Each system supports up to 200 million simulated subscribers and 1.2 million transactions per second, delivering high-performance capabilities suitable for network load testing. Additionally, dsTest has been supporting CIoT testing (C-SGN testing) and 5G testing from early stage, and has been adopted by multiple vendors.

[5G SA Core Network (5GC) Validation]
In 5G SA validation, dsTest simulates 5G NR terminals, 5G NR base stations, the Data Network (DN), and 5GC Control Plane core nodes to enable functional and load testing of 5GC User Plane core nodes (UPF).
Even when multiple UPFs serve as Devices Under Test (DUT), dsTest supports comprehensive validation, including QoS slicing and UPF handover processing (make-before-break).
